The Eastern Desert of Egypt; miles and miles of unexplored virgin mountains and wadis. This expanse of rocks , sand and occasional vegetation has witnessed over the centuries the rise and fall of many ancient civilizations, each leaving its imprints on the land

Red Sea Desert Adventures are now offering visitors of the Marsa Alam area the opportunity of the unique experience to visit the Eastern Desert on a daily excursion by car, camel, donkey or hiking.

All our tours are carried out toghether with the local Bedouins called Ababda. It is one  of  Red Sea Desert Adventures intensions to work in corporation with the local society for the regional development of tourism.

The itineraries cover nature tours visiting scenic areas, historic tours visiting old Roman/Ptolemaic sites, a cultural tour experiencing today's local society, camel riding and hiking, as well as astronomical excursions.

Below you will find information about the trips we offer.

Many of our guests already have their ideas about the desert. It is possible to do special tours. If you are interested tell us your ideas. We will do all possible to arrange the tour the way you like it. Desert dinners or mountain hiking for instance can be arranged. 

There is the possibility of combining trips - afternoon excursions with an Astro Tour or a dinner trip for example. Generally we allow a 15% reduction in the overall price for combined tours. Just let us know in time for the matter of organization and exact pricing.

Each tour requires a minimum of 4 participants. For the Astro Tour we need a minimum of 10 guests.

The following price list is "all inclusive" (transport, food, …). Children up to 12 years receive a 30% reduction.
