The Eastern Desert's night sky gives you a unique possibility for stargazing. Undisturbed by noise or light you really can experience the space surrounding our little planet Earth. The Astronomy Centers of Marsa Alam and Wadi Lahami are unique in Egypt. Built in the mountains of the desert they are undisturbed by noise or light from the nearby hotels.

Our tours are lead by trained people who help you to understand the mystery of the Universe.

We tell you about the star-signs and their mythologies, show you Life-Color Images from our Telescope on Wide Screen, and explain basic astrophysics. A special laser is used to support the explanations.

For about seven days during each month the moon is too bright to see many stars. Watch the moon with binoculars and get all the information about it while enjoying the scenery. The desert illuminated by the moon is spectacular to experience.

The tour starts after dinner and takes about 2 hours.
